What you can expect from me
Whether you are looking for web, marketing or sales copy, I can help you identify the language that reflects your brand, engages your audience and delivers results.
How do I do this? Well, I take the time to get to know your brand really, really well. I also make sure that we are both clear about what your goals are. When I work with you, I take the time to find out who your brand is, what your products and services are, who your customers are, how they talk and what makes them tick.
I also identify linguistic barriers to your prospects becoming your customers, who your competitors are, and how you are different from them.
Want to know more about what I can do for you? Here is some information on what good copy can do for you. Here are some questions to help you decide if I will be useful to you. Or you could just get in touch and we can talk about what you need.
There are six key stages to a project when you work with me.
1. Briefing and scoping
I’ll ask you a series of questions. This will tell me what you want, what you’ve done before and what you already have, as well as information about your audience and industry. The more information I gather, the better job I can do.
2. Research
This is desk research. Getting to know your brand, your audience, your competitors, and the industry in which you operate.
3. Writing
This is when I go quiet, because I will be writing your copy.
4. Review 1
This is your opportunity to feedback on my first submitted draft.
5. Review 2
This is the final opportunity to provide feedback before I submit the final draft *.
6. Sign-off
The moment at which we are all satisfied that the project has been completed.
What will it cost?
Your needs will be different from other clients I work with. You might want a one off piece of copy or a more coordinated project approach.
If I could give you a one-size-fits-all price list here, believe me, I would.
If you’re looking for a rough estimate call me for a free consultation or send me an email.
For a full quote, I work to a day rate (or fractions of), so all we really need to know is how long a project is going to take. You can contact me and I’ll ask you a few questions. The more information you give me, the faster I can provide you with an accurate quote, so there won’t be any surprises*.
All quotes are based on:
- Necessary meetings/conversations, briefings
- Desk research (where applicable)
- Copywriting for the agreed project scope
- Two rounds of revisions
- Proofreading, if applicable
